Ans: Yes you can. Just map your domain name to our IP or server name which is provided to you when you signup and let us know the application ID you want to map to. We will setup it for you.

4. Does your Hosting include some Web Disk space?
Ans: Yes. You can use this to store your files, emails etc

5. Will I have access to UTL_HTTP, UTL_FILE, UTL_TCP, DBMS_CRYPTO and APEX_MAIL with Shared or DedicatedDB hosting plans?
Ans: Yes you will be granted access to these packages.

6. Which languages are supported by your APEX Instances?
Ans: Our instances are available in all languages which are supported by Oracle Application Express(APEX).

7. Do your servers support SSL?
Ans: Yes, all our hosting plans support SSL except APEX-100 MB plan. You need to buy SSL subscription for additional cost of $9/month or $95/year for single domain. If you need multiple domain SSL subscription it is available for $160/year.

8. Can I get backup of my data and application anytime I want?
Ans: Yes, you can export your data and application anytime.

Ans: No. But we provide 7 day full money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you get your full money back.

10. How much time do you take to setup my workspace after I place an order?
Ans: Shared workspaces are created instantly after you make payment. For DedicatedDB we need approximately 2-8 hours.

11. Is possible to develop my applications using your hosted APEX environment? Can I get full access to APEX development environment?
Ans: Yes you can develop and run applications in our APEX environment. It is a full install not just run-time.

12. How can I integrate Jasper Reports with my APEX application?
Ans: Yes, There is a nice, easy and free integration kit available for Jasper.

13. Can I use Form 6i Application?
Ans: You cannot use the 6i application on our hosting platform.

14. Can I upgrade my existing plan at any time?
Ans: You can upgrade your existing plan at any time, and the price difference will be adjusted.

15. Can I increase my storage in DedicatedDB?
Ans: Yes, you can increase your storage in the DedicatedDB plan at an extra cost. The storage will be increased as additional storage, not on the main disk.

16. Does hosting price includes administration support?
Ans: DBA and Technical support are included in hosting plans and no extra cost will be charged.

17. Can I get my own dump file of my Data?
Ans: Yes, you can get.

18. How many schema/database users can be created on DedicatedDB/CloudDB plans?
Ans: There is no limit to the number of schemas.

19. How many schema/database users can be created on the APEX-100M Shared plan?
Ans: You can create 1 schema in the APEX-100M Shared plan.

20. Can I choose my cloud location?
Ans: You can choose your desired location from the list while placing the order.

21. Is there a server downtime on maintenance?
Ans: We rarely require downtime for maintenance. We schedule it beforehand to minimize any downtime.

Ans: Yes you can buy APEX hosting with almost any Credit Card or Paypal.

2. Is billing month-to-month or yearly?
Ans: Billing is done monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly whichever you choose.

Ans: You can get 10% discount on yearly and 5% discount on semi-annually payments.

1. Can you provide me with the details on what type of backups you do, frequency, where you store the backups (offsite?), and what type of support you offer if there is a problem?

We take full database backup daily (Monday to Sunday) using RMAN. The backup is copied to another physical location (offsite). We also provide an option for our customers to get an export (exp/expdp) of their schema whenever they want.

2. Can I work with APEX on your server and be in license compliance, without purchasing a license from Oracle?
Ans: Yes you don’t need to purchase license for Oracle database to use MaxAPEX.

3. Do you support access to the schema via SQL Developer?
Ans: Yes you can use SQL Developer etc to connect to your schema.

4. What if I need more tablespace quota so I would like to upgrade to the higher package? Will this cause any downtime?
Ans: Just open a ticket. We will arrange everything for you. It will not cause any downtime.

5. Can I send outbound emails, low volume to individual email accounts using APEX_MAIL ?
Ans: Yes you can. But you have to make sure you are not sending Spam emails.

6. Can I use dbms_scheduler to schedule jobs?
Ans: Yes you can. However the scheduled job must not run more than 4 times a day (On Shared Servers) and should not have adverse effects on Server’s performance. For DedicatedDB performance there’s no limit on number of runs.

7. How long does it take to receive account set-up confirmation?
Ans: For shared hosting plan, it should not take more than a few minutes. For DedicatedDB Hosting, it can take up to 2-8 hours.

8. How can I import my Data in to your Cloud?
Ans: You can import your Data using the Oracle IMP/EXP repository or you can open a ticket. Our support team will help you in importing your data.

9. Is your Support 24/7/365?
Ans: Yes it is for all Critical Issues such in case your server is down or there is some emergency . For other issues we are available 24/7.
