The Ulster Project of East Tennessee and Entertainment Events, Inc. presented ‘Till Death Do Us Part: Late Nite Catechism 3 at Oak Ridge’s Historic Grove Theater on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010. The evening’s entertainment began at 6:30 p.m. with a reception in the friendly and warm atmosphere of an Irish pub in Derry, including Celtic music, refreshments, and a silent auction. The show began at 7:30 p.m.
‘Til Death Do Us Part is the latest class to be unveiled in the sinfully funny series, Late Nite Catechism. After teaching countless students all about the saints, venial sins, guilt and more, Sister is now offering up hilarious lessons on the Sacraments of Marriage and Last Rites, including her own wacky version of the Newlywed Game. This interactive one-woman show, written by Maripat Donovan with Marc Silvia, will have you praying you remember your Sunday School lessons.
Whether Catholic or not, the mystique of “The Sisters”, in their iconic apparel, teaching generations of young students how to read, write and mind their P’s and Q’s, has permeated American culture.
